The self-publishing website was great and whenever there was something that was a bit difficult to navigate, customer services were very helpful. the finished product was also great and fantastic value for money.

I hadn't produced a book before and was concerned about the technical stuff eg margins, left and right pages being in the correct place, etc. However, Mixam's website held a lot of fantastic information that made the process much easier. I really liked the ability to view the book as it would finally look before confirming the order. The system picked out areas of concern eg photos of a low resolution etc and highlighted them and gave the opportunity of correcting. It was a bit daunting pressing the final confirmation and then waiting for the book to arrive. When it did I was blown away by the quality. I am absolutely delighted with it - it has gone well above my expectations. It is a one-off book relating to the recipient who will receive it as a Christmas present. I know that it will be the best present I've every given the person. I've bought many hardback books which are of poorer quality.
