How it works!
1 Get a Price
Enter your print details and get an instant quote. (if it's not there, contact us for a bespoke order).
2 Order Online
Click continue to add the item to your shopping cart, where you can place an order or email a quote. Go back to add another item to your cart.
3 Upload Artwork
Drag and drop your file to your order page, it really is that simple! Once payment is made you can approve the proof and confirm your order.
When your order is ready we will notify you to let you know it's on its way. In most cases we can provide a one hour delivery window.
- How to use our site
- Enter your printing requirements into our easy‐to‐use quote calculator. Once you’ve done this, a quote pops up. When you’re happy with it, click ‘Continue’ to see a summary. If you’re happy, click ‘Continue’ to see your order.
- Uploading your file
You can upload files in the following formats:
PDF, jpg, Postscript, MS Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, Lotus and Excel.
Drag and drop your file to the ‘Artwork’ window, or select ‘Upload files’ to find the file on your device.
You can upload one file with multiple pages or as multiple files each with one page. If you’re supplying multiple files, name them in sequence and our system automatically organises them in the right order. For example:
file1.pdf, file2.pdf, file3.pdf or page1.pdf, page2.pdf, page3.pdf etc. This may take a few minutes.
When it’s complete your proofs are displayed as thumbnails. Click to enlarge each page, or if your order has multiple pages you can view it as a flipbook by selecting the book icon.
- Printing on the spine
- If you’ve chosen Perfect Binding, your booklet will have a spine. If you want something printed on it, you’ll need to upload a separate file. If you don’t, it’ll be blank.
- Editing your proof
Drag pages to change their sequence order.
Delete pages by clicking on the blue cog that appears when you hover over each page.
All booklets, brochures and catalogues need to have a page count divisible by four so that it binds correctly. You’ll be notified if you don’t have the correct number of pages, and you can either add more or choose blank pages and place them where you like.
To delete the entire file or more than a single page, click the red ‘X’ next to the file name in the column on the left.
If you have a new version of a file you want to use, delete the old file first and upload your new one.
- Automatic preflight
Our system checks whether your file is ready to be printed, and lets you know if there are any issues. You can disable these issue ‘warnings’ by ticking the ‘hide warnings’ box.
A red warning means there’s a problem that’s preventing the file from being printed. You’ll need to correct it and re‐upload the file. If you get stuck, just call us.
- Preventing white edges
- Bleed is an area outside the trim edge of your document that’s removed after printing. It prevents any white space after your document has been trimmed. It’s best if your documents have ‘bleed’ before they’re uploaded. But if you’re not sure how to do it, there are things we can do to ensure you documents don’t have white edges. For more info on bleed, check out our technical FAQs.
- Confirming your order
Once you’re happy with your proof, and paid for it, you’ll be asked once more to confirm you’re happy with it by clicking ‘Place order’. You can cancel your order at any time up to this point, and any payment is automatically refunded.
Once you’ve clicked ‘Place order’, your order is confirmed and you won’t be able to make any changes. But if you do realise you need to make an amend, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to change it before any costs are incurred.
If you need any help at all, just call us on 01923 693 747 or use the messaging centre – we’re here to make the process as easy as possible.
