Personalised Mug Printing

• A single mug is packaged in an individual smash-proof box. 
• Two mugs are placed in a double smash-proof box. 
• Orders of 3 or more are individually wrapped and put into an outer box for delivery.

White mugs with a choice of 7 colours for the handle and inside. Both the inside of the mug and handle will reflect your colour choice. The outside of the mug remains white, after you add an image to be wrapped, a small white boarder will remain. 

• Material: Ceramic with gloss food-safe coating. Microwave and dishwasher safe for up to 125 washes. 
• Size/Volume: 330ml/11oz with 350ml maximum volume 
• Dimensions: 96mm height, 82mm diameter
• Printable area: 200 x 80mm. Print begins approx 8mm from the top and bottom of the mug, leaving a small white boarder. Mugs cannot be printed internally or on the base. 
• Printing method: Dye Sublimation 
• Weight: 400g
• Minimum font size: 10pt, or 14pt for white text on a coloured background. 
• Artwork recommendations: Vector graphics only, rasterised artwork is likely to reduce print quality. For QR codes, 2cm x 2cm sizes are best to ensure scanning is reliable with the curvature of the mug. If you do intend on using a larger QR code please test this by printing a copy of the QR code the size it is in your design and wrapping it round a standard sized mug to test it will still work with the curvature.

All-white mugs

• Printing method: Pad Print - silicone pad ink transfer.

• Artwork recommendations: Vector graphics only in PDF format. No gradients or Bitmaps. Outline all strokes by converting them to shapes. Avoid fine details and closely spaced elements as there is potential these could merge or blur during print. 
• Bleed: No bleed is required
• Colour printing: Single colour as spot colour with HEX code as the colour name. Choose from 24 Pantone colours shown on the price calculator. If you upload artwork with more than one colour, order a colour different to the Hex value selected, we will automatically convert your artwork to the single colour you have selected.  

A matte black mug with a black handle and 6 colour options for the inside colour. 

• Material: Ceramic with matte food-safe coating. Dishwasher safe for up to 125 washes. 
• Size/Volume: 340ml 
• Dimensions: 84mm height, 88mm diameter
• Printable area: 45 x 40mm, fixed position on one side of the mug
• Printing method: Pad Print - silicone pad ink transfer.

All-black image wrap mugs that reveal your artwork when hot liquid is added. 

• Material: Ceramic with gloss food-safe coating. Hand wash only. 
• Colour: White interior. Black exterior body and handle when empty. Image reveal for the printed area takes a few seconds when the mug is filled with hot liquid. Handle colour does not change. 
• Printable area: 200 x 80mm. Print begins approx 8mm from the top and bottom of the mug, leaving a small white boarder. Mugs cannot be printed internally or on the base. 
• Printing method: Dye Sublimation 
• Minimum font size: 8pt 
• Artwork recommendations: All fonts should be outlined or embedded. PDF or PDFX1a required. 
• Bleed: No bleed is required
• Colour printing: Full colour CMYK

Start a pending order by adding a quote to your Cart and clicking Continue. Please label your files clearly before uploading with names like Page_1, Page_2, etc., so our system can place your files chronologically. Drag and drop files from your desktop or upload them from your computer, online file-sharing accounts like Dropbox, or a web URL. You can upload single and multi-page files to orders. You can upload many file types, and we’ll convert them into high-quality PDFs. You can submit them as single, double, or individual files. Ensure your files are in CMYK colour mode before uploading. A multi-piece shipment refers to a single order containing multiple items. Once you add your first quote to your Shopping Cart, you can repeat the process for the same item or add a quote for another item via the categories at the top of the website. You can then upload your files to each item in one order.

Once you’ve uploaded files in your order’s Artwork tab, you can preview them via Thumbnails, an Online Preview and Downloadable Proof. Mixam’s automatic file checker will scan your files, but please also check all files manually, especially your Downloadable Proof, to review and fix issues before we send your order to production.
